Pengaruh Financial Leverage Terhadap Profitabilitas pada Perusahaan Transportasi yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2012-2014

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Financial Leverage (Degree of Financial Leverage, Debt to Assets Ratio Debt to Equity Ratio and Time Interest Earned Ratio) to profitability (Return On Equity) at transport company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014. This type of research is associative research. The data used is secondary data obtained from BEI website. The sample selection criteria carried out by the target population. The sample was 16 transport company listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2014. This research applies multiple linear regression analysis with the help of e-Views program, then use a hypothesis testing using statistical test F and test t statistic with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that the Degree of Financial Leverage and Interest Earned Ratio Time to have a positive effect but not significant to the profitability of transport companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2014. Debt to Assets Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio significant negative effect on the profitability of transport companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2014. The implication of this research is the transport company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange is the the low Debt to Assets Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio will maximize the company's profitability.
