dc.description.abstractPemupukan nitrogen yang disertai dengan aplikasi zeolit dan jerami padi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketersediaan hara N, pertumbuhan tanaman, dan produksi padi di lahan sawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan ketersediaan hara N pertumbuhan tanaman, dan produksi padi melalui pemberian pupuk nitrogen, zeolit dan jerami padi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan sawah Kelurahan Cengkeh Turi, Kecamatan Binjai Utara, Kota Binjai dengan ketinggian tempat ± 32 meter diatas permukaan laut dari bulan Maret - Agustus 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial dengan 3 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu Nitrogen (Urea) terdiri atas 0; 100; 200; 300 kg Urea/ha. Faktor kedua yaitu Zeolit terdiri atas 0 dan 250 kg Zeolit/ha. Faktor ketiga yaitu Jerami padi terdiri atas 0 dan 2 ton Jerami padi/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemupukan nitrogen berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketersediaan hara N, serapan N, pertumbuhan tanaman serta rasio tajuk akar. Perlakuan zeolit secara tunggal berpengaruh nyata terhadap KTK tanah, kandungan dan serapan N daun, pertumbuhan tanaman serta bobot kering tajuk tanaman. Perlakuan Jerami Padi secara tunggal berpengaruh nyata terhadap KTK tanah dan pertumbuhan tanaman. Interaksi pupuk nitrogen dan zeolit, pupuk nitrogen dan Jerami Padi serta zeolit dan Jerami Padi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap ketersediaan N pada tanah sawah, kadungan dan serapan N serta pertumbuhan dan produksi. Interaksi pupuk nitrogen, zeolit, dan Jerami Padi berpengaruh nyata terhadap serapan N serta pertumbuhan tanaman padi sawah.en_US
dc.description.abstractNitrogen fertilization accompanied by the application of zeolite and rice straw are expected to increase the availability of N nutrients, plant growth, and rice production in paddy fields. This study aims to determine the increase in the availability of N, plant growth, and rice production rice fields through the provision of, nitrogen fertilizer, zeolite, and rice straw. This research was conducted in the rice field area of Cengkeh Turi village, Binjai City (± 32 masl) from March-Agustus 2018. This study used factorial randomized block design with 3 factors and 3 trials. The first factor is Nitrogen (Urea) consisting of 0; 100; 200; 300 kg of urea / ha. The second factor is Zeolite consisting of 0 and 250 kg Zeolite / ha. The third factor is rice straw consisting of 0 and 2 tons of rice straw / ha. The results showed that nitrogen fertilization singly had significant effect on N nutrient availability, N uptake, plant growth and root canopy ratio. Single zeolite treatment significantly affected soil CEC, leaf content and N uptake, plant growth and dry weight of plant canopy. Single treatment of fresh straw significantly affected the soil CEC and plant growth. The interaction of nitrogen and zeolite fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer and fresh straw and zeolite and rice straw had no significant effect on N availability in paddy soils, N content and uptake as well as growth and production. The interaction of fertilizer nitrogen, zeolite, and fresh straw significantly affected N uptake and the growth of rice paddy plants.en_US
