dc.description.abstractIn Indonesia, oil palm is one of the industrial plants which is trusted to be able to help the government to alleviate poverty. The initial growth of seeds was determined by the availability of water so that it requires attention and precision. This study was aimed to determine the effect of NPK application and without NPK fertilizer on the value of plant coefficient of oil palm seedlings of tenera varieties. The parameters used were soil texture, soil organic matter, soil mass density (bulk density), soil particle density (particle density), porosity, evapotranspiration, potential evaporation, percolation, moisture content of field capacity and oven dried root weight. The results showed that the texture of the entisol soil used was sandy clay textures obtained from the ratio of sand percentage of 81.00%, dust of 4.12%, clay of 14.88% and B-organic of 1.999%, bulk density, the value of soil particles (particle density), soil porosity and the highest field capacity without using fertilizers were 1.167 g / cm3(4 months of age), 2.31 g / cm3 (6 months of age), 49.23% (4 months of age) ), and 43.95%, respectively. Whereas with fertilizer application were 1.118 g / cm3 (4 months of age), 2.23 g / cm3 (4 months of age), 49.98% (4 months of age) and 37.77%, evapotranspiration (ETc), potential evaporation and the highest percolation without using fertilizer at 0.81 mm / day (4 months of age), 2.17 mm / day (6 months of age), and 14.67 mm / day (4 months of age), and with the application of fertilizer were 0.815 mm / day (4 months of age), 2.17 mm / day (6 months of age), and 14.43 mm / day (4 months of age), the oven's highest dry root weight without using fertilizer was 24.76 gr (age 6 months), while using fertilizer was 33.89 gr (age 6 months) and the highest plant coefficient (Kc) without using fertilizer was 0.626 (age 6 months), while using fertilizer was 0.65 (age 6 months).en_US
dc.description.abstractDi Indonesia kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu tanaman industri yang diyakini bisa membantu pemerintah untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan. Pertumbuhan awal bibit sangat ditentukan oleh ketersedian air sehingga memerlukan perhatian dan ketelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan nilai koefisien tanaman dengan pemberian pupuk dan tidak diberi pupuk NPK terhadap bibit tanaman kelapa sawit varietas tenera. Parameter yang digunakan adalah tekstur tanah, bahan organik tanah, kerapatan massa tanah (bulk density), kerapatan partikel tanah (particle density), porositas, evapotranspirasi, evaporasi potensial, perkolasi, kadar air kapasitas lapang dan berat kering oven. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekstur tanah entisol yang digunakan bertekstur lempung berpasir yang diperoleh dari perbandingan persentase pasir 81,00%, debu 4,12%, liat 14,88% dan B-organik sebesar 1,999%, nilai kerapatan massa tanah (bulk density), nilai partikel tanah (particle density), porositas tanah dan kapasitas lapang tertinggi tanpa menggunakan pupuk adalah masing-masing sebesar 1,167 g/cm3 (usia 4 bulan), 2,31 g/cm3 (usia 6 bulan), 49,23% (usia 4 bulan), dan 43,95 %. Dengan pemberian pupuk, sebesar 1,118 g/cm3 (usia 4 bulan), 2,23 g/cm3 (usia 4 bulan), 49,98% (usia 4 bulan) dan 37,77%, nilai evapotranspirasi (ETc), evaporasi potensial dan perkolasi tertinggi tanpa menggunakan pupuk sebesar 0,81 mm/hari (usia 4 bulan), 2,17 mm/hari (usia 6 bulan), dan 14,67 mm/hari (usia 4 bulan). Sedangkan dengan pemberian pupuk sebesar 0,815 mm/hari (usia 4 bulan), 2,17 mm/hari (usia 6 bulan), dan 14,43 mm/hari (usia 4 bulan), berat akar kering oven tertinggi tanpa menggunakan pupuk sebesar 24,76 gr (usia 6 bulan), dan dengan pupuk adalah sebesar 33,89 gr (usia 6 bulan) dan nilai koefisien tanaman (Kc) tertinggi tanpa menggunakan pupuk adalah sebesar 0,626 (usia 6 bulan), sedangkan menggunakan pupuk sebesar 0,65 (usia 6 bulan).en_US
