dc.description.abstractSpecialists’ loyalty is one of the enabling factors for the success in serving patients as consumers and hospitals as providers. Specialists’ loyalty in serving inpatients in Santa Elizabeth Hospital had not been optimal which caused the coverage of BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate) in 2015 was only 51.5% (under the standard of 60.85%). The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of motivation and organizational climate on specialists’ loyalty at Santa Elizabeth Hospital, Medan. The research was an explanatory survey. The population was 75 specialists who were on duty at Santa Elizabeth Hospital, Medan, and 54 of them were used as the samples. The data were gathered by conducting interviews and questionnaires and analyzed by using multiple logistic regression analysis at α = 0.05. The result of the research showed that, statistically, motivation which included physical needs, reward, and actualization and organizational climate which included flexibility, responsibility, and commitment had positive and significant influence on specialists’ loyalty at Santa Elizabeth Hospital, Medan. Motivation for reward had the most dominant influence on specialists’ loyalty. It is recommended that the hospital management 1) increase their attention to the specialists’ physical needs by fulfilling their welfare so that their loyalty will increase, too, 2) make the specialists always on site in the hospital, 3) provide work facility and working atmosphere for the specialists in an organization, 4) apply achievement standard, monitoring, and work evaluation of the specialists sustainably, and 5) motivate them by giving reward such as personal attention, compliment for those who have good performance and punishment or warning in evaluating them.en_US
dc.description.abstractLoyalitas dokter spesialis merupakan salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan pelayanan yang diterima pasien sebagai konsumen dan rumah sakit sebagai provider. Loyalitas dokter spesialis dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan belum optimal, sehingga berdampak terhadap pencapaian BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate) pada tahun 2015, yaitu sebesar 51,5% dibawah standar 60-85%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Motivasi dan Iklim Organisasi terhadap Loyalitas Dokter Spesialis di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan. Jenis penelitian survei explanatory. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah dokter spesialis yang bertugas di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan berjumlah 75 orang. dan sampel sebanyak 54 orang. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, dianalisis dengan uji regresi logistik berganda pada α=0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik motivasi meliputi kebutuhan fisik, penghargaan, aktualisasi dan iklim organisasi meliputi fleksibilitas, responsibilitas, komitmen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas dokter spesialis di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan. Motivasi kebutuhan penghargaan.berpengaruh paling besar terhadap loyalitas dokter spesialis. Disarankan kepada manajemen Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan untuk : 1) mengupayakan meningkatkan perhatian kebutuhan fisik dokter spesialis melalui pemenuhan kesejahteraan, sehingga loyalitas akan meningkat, 2) mengupayakan dokter spesialis on site di rumah sakit, 3) mengupayakan pemenuhan fasilitas kerja dan memelihara suasana kerja dokter spesialis dalam organisasi, 4) mengupayakan menetapkan standar capaian, monitoring dan evaluasi hasil kerja dokter spesialis secara berkesinambungan, 5) perlu memberikan motivasi berupa reward (penghargaan) dalam bentuk perhatian secara personal, pujian bagi yang berprestasi dan punishment (ganjaran) berupa teguran dalam mengevaluasi kinerja dokter spesialis.en_US
