dc.description.abstractThe study on the diversity of fish has been conducted at Bah Tongguran river, district Tanah Jawa, Simalungun regency during Juny 2016. Purposive sampling method was used to determine three stations of the research based on community activities at the river. The research found seven genera of fishes, classified into one class, four ordos (Cypriniformes, Ostariophysi, Perciformes, Anabantoidei), and four families (Cyprinidae, Clariidae, Balitoridae, dan Belontiidae). The highest density was found at 1st station with the value of 0,053 ind/m2 and the lowest was found at 3rd station with the value of 0,053 ind/m2. Diversity index from all stations were low with range from 0,863 to 1,625. Pearson correlation analysis indicated that light intensity, DO, BOD, nd posfat value are strongly correlated with the diversity of fishes.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian mengenai keanekaragaman ikan telah dilakukan di sungai Bah Tongguran, Kecamatan Tanah Jawa, Kabupaten Simalungun pada bulan Juni 2016. Penentuan titik lokasi penelitian menggunakan metode “Purposive Sampling” dengan menentukan tiga stasiun berdasarkan aktivitas masyarakat di sungai tersebut. Ada tujuh spesies ikan yang ditemukan dilokasi penelitian yang diklasifikasikan kedalam 1 kelas, 4 ordo (Cypriniformes, Ostariophysi, Perciformes, Anabantoidei) dan 4 famili (Cyprinidae, Clariidae, Balitoridae, dan Belontiidae). Kepadatan tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 1 dengan nilai 0,053 ind/m2 dan terendah pada stasiun 3 dengan nilai 0,039 ind/m2. Indeks keanekaragaman dari ketiga stasiun tergolong rendah yaitu berkisar 0,863-1,625. Berdasarkan hasil analisa korelasi pearson intensitas cahaya, DO, BOD, dan posfat berkorelasi sangat kuat terhadap keanekaragaman ikan.en_US
