dc.description.abstractResearch has been conducted from February until April 2019 in Haranggaol, Toba Lake with the aim to analyze phytoplankton abundance, trophic status, and its correlation to water physico-chemical factors. The research used purposive sampling in determining three sampling sites based on activities around sites. Data analysis including temperature, light penetration, pH, Dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), turbidity, total phosphate (PO4) and chlorophyll-a. Thirty-four genera of phytoplankton obtained were classified into 4 classes and 21 families. The highest abundance was obtained from genus Staurastrum with total of 843,2 ind/L. Temperature and chlorophyll-a had the strongest correlation to phytoplankton abundance.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari hingga April 2019 di perairan Haranggaol Danau Toba, bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelimpahan fitoplankton, status trofik danau dan hubungannya terhadap faktor fisik kimia peraairan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu “Purposive Sampling” dengan menentukan tiga stasiun pengambilan sampel berdasarkan aktivitas di sekitar stasiun tersebut. Analisis data meliputi kelimpahan dan frekuensi kehadiran. Parameter fisikkimia perairan yang diukur meliputi suhu, penetrasi cahaya, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), konduktivitas (daya hantar listrik), padatan terlarut (TDS), kekeruhan (turbiditas), nitrogen total (PO4), dan klorofil-a. Tiga puluh empat genus fitoplankton yang diperoleh diklasifikasikan ke dalam 4 kelas, 12 ordo, dan 21 famili. Kelimpahan tertinggi diperoleh genus Staurastrum sebanyak 843,2 ind/L. Suhu dan klorofil-a memiliki nilai korelasi yang kuat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton.en_US
