    Abstract
Jumlah umbi per sampel, panjang umbi per sampel, diameter umbi per sampel, bobot umbi per sampel, rataan bobot umbi, bobot umbi per plot, bobot basah tanaman per sampel, indeks panen dan grading umbi segar kelas A tertinggi pada genotip lokal Secanggang. Aplikasi kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram 20 ton/ha nyata meningkatkan panjang dan diameter umbi.

The use of local sweet potato genotypes and the utilization of baglog oyster mushroom waste into compost is an alternative in efforts to increase sweet potato production as functional food. This research aims to determine the growth and production of several local sweet potato genotypes (Ipomoea batatas L.) through the application of baglog waste oyster mushroom. This research was conducted in Helvetia Village, Labuhan Deli District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province, which was ± 5 meters above sea level, from June 2019 to October 2019. This research used a Randomized Group Design with 2 factors, namely local genotyping (Tanah Seribu, Perbaungan and Secanggang) and baglog compost application for oyster mushroom waste (0, 10, 20, 30 ton /ha). The results showed that at 2-10 WAP (Weeks After Planting) the highest stem length increase was found in local genotypes of Tanah Seribu. Number of tubers per sample, length of tubers per sample, tuber diameter per sample, bobo tubers per sample, average tuber weights, tuber weights per plot, wet weight of plants per sample, harvest index and grading of fresh class A tubers highest in Secanggang local genotype. Application of baglog oyster mushroom compost 20 tons / ha significantly increases the length and diameter of the tubers.
