    Abstract
    Binahong merupakan tanaman obat yang mengandung banyak manfaat diantaranya dapat mengobati diabetes, pasca operasi, dan penyakit dalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan binahong dengan pemberian air kelapa dan ekstrak bonggol pisang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera dari bulan Juni sampai Agustus 2019. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial, dengan 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu : Asal Bahan Tanam terdiri dari : Asal Bahan Tanam 1 (Jalan Marelan Pasar I Tengah ), Asal Bahan Tanam 2 (Jalan Ampera Timur Setia Budi); Asal Bahan Tanam 3 (Jalan Persatuan Medan Helvetia) dan Pemberian Air Kelapa dan Ekstrak Bonggol Pisang terdiri dari : (P0: Kontrol; P1: Air Kelapa 40%; P2: Ekstrak Bonggol Pisang 40%; P3; Air Kelapa 40% + Ekstrak Bonggol Pisang 40%. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa pada asal bahan tanam nyata meningkatkan pertambahan panjang tanaman umur 1-2 minggu setelah tanam (MSPT) dan pada volume akar. Pada pemberian air kelapa dan ekstrak bonggol pisang nyata meningkatkan pertambahan panjang tanaman umur 2-4 MSPT. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara asal bahan tanam serta pemberian air kelapa dan ekstrak bonggol pisang dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan binahong.
     
    Binahong is a medicinal plant that contains a lot of benefits such as treating diabetes, postsurgery, and cure the disease.. This research aim was to determine the effect of coconut water and banana weevil extract mixture natural plant growth regulator on the growth of binahong. This research was conducted at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Faculty of Agriculture Screen House from June to August 2019. The research was a randomized block design, with 2 factors are: Origin of planting material such as : From Marelan Pasar 1 Tengah Street; From Ampera Timur Setia Budi Street; From Persatuan Medan Helvetia Street and Application of cooconut water and extract of banana weevil such as: control; coconut water 40%; extract of banana weevil 40%; coconut water 40% + extract of banana weevil 40%). The results of this research indicated that the origin of planting material significantly increased the length of plants aged 1-2 week after transplanting and in the root volumer. in the provision of coconut water and exract of banana weevil significantly increased the length of plants aged 2-4 week after planting. There is no interaction between application of coconut water and exract of banana weevil, origin of planting material in increasing binahong growth.
