dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi terbaik dari air kelapa dan IAA terhadap perbanyakan eksplan bonggol pisang barangan (Musa acuminata L.). Penelitian ini telah dilakukan dari bulan Maret 2019 sampai bulan Juli 2019 di Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura, Medan, Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dua faktor dengan empat taraf air kelapa (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%) dan empat taraf IAA (0 mg/L; 0,5 mg/L; 1 mg/L; 1,5 mg/L). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian air kelapa dan IAA berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Tipe pertumbuhan kultur yang terbentuk berupa planlet, tunas, dan eksplan membengkak. Pertumbuhan organ hingga terbentuk planlet yang terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan air kelapa 5% dan IAA 1 mg/L (A1I2) dengan rata-rata jumlah tunas 3,33, jumlah daun 3,66, dan jumlah akar 14,00 dengan waktu muncul tunas 3,00 hari setelah tanam.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research was to get the optimal concentration of coconut water and IAA for the propagation of barangan banana (Musa acuminata L.) with tuber as an explant. This research has been done from March 2019 to July 2019 at Department of Food Crops and Horticulture, Medan, North Sumatera. This research used two factorial completely randomized design with four levels of coconut water concentration (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%) and four levels of IAA concentration (0 mg/L; 0,5 mg/L; 1 mg/L; 1,5 mg/L ). The result showed that coconut water and IAA was significantly affected to all of observed parameters. The type of proliferation were to be plantlet, shoots, and the rest of explants as swell. The best plantlet initiation were belong to 5% of coconut water and 1 mg/L of IAA (A1I2) with shoot average by 3,33 and the total of leaf and root was 3,66 and 14,00 respectively with shoot appearance time by 3,00 days after planted.en_US
