dc.description.abstractPreparation and characterization of bonded magnets NdFeB has been successfully performed using NdFeB powder and Fe powder as raw materials. Variations in thecompotition of NdFeB powder and Fe powder are 100: 0, 95:5, and 90:10 (%wt). Milling process both raw materials was conducted by wet milling (toluene) using Planetary Ball Mill (PBM) for 30 minutes and then powder dried by oven. Furthermore, the powder of the milling product was mixed with epoxy with the ratio of powder and epoxy 96:4 (wt%) and then compacting isotropy at a pressure of 70 kgF using Magnetic Field Press of 5,2 gram from total mass of the sample. Furthermore, pellet samples are stored in the glove box until it dries. Material characterization includes: Measurement of particle diameter, density, magnetic properties (VSM), and magneic flux with Gaussmeter. The results showed that Fe enhancer improved physical properties and decreased magnetic properties. The density and strength of the best magnetic field were obtained at the addition of Fe 5% is 5.5 g /cm3 and 1408.4G. Mr. N = 5.41 kG, Ms = 10.25 kG, Hc = 3.885 koe, and BHmax = 4 , 31 MGOen_US
dc.description.abstractPembuatan dan karakterisasi bonded magnet NdFeB telah berhasil dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahan baku serbuk NdFeB dan serbuk Fe. Variasi komposisi serbuk NdFeB dan serbuk Fe adalah 100:0, 95:5, dan 90:10 (%berat). Proses milling kedua bahan baku dilakukan dengan metode wet milling (toluene) menggunakan Planetary Ball Mill (PBM) selama 30 menit kemudian serbuk dikeringkan dengan oven. Selanjutnya, sebuk hasil milling dicampur dengan epoxy dengan perbandingan serbuk dan epoxy 96:4 (%berat) dari total massa sampel 5,2 gram kemudian dicetak secara isotropi pada tekanan 70 kgF selama 2 menit menggunakan Magnetic Field Press. Selanjutnya sampel pelet di simpan pada glove box sampai mengering. Karakterisasi material meliputi: Pengukuran diameter partikel, densitas, sifat magnetik (VSM), dan fluks magneik dengan Gaussmeter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahn Fe meningkatkan sifat fisis dan menurunkan sifat magnet. Densitas dan kuat medan magnet terbaik diperoleh pada penambahan Fe 5% yaitu sebesar 5,5 g/cm3 dan 1408,4 G. Nlai Mr=6,41 kG, Ms = 10,25 kG, Hc = 3,885 koe, dan BHmax = 4,31 MGOeen_US
