dc.description.abstractDeforestation has caused declining forest connectivity and degradation. Decreasing the forest connectivity have reduced the forest area and increasead the isolation of the forest. The damaged of the forest resources that occurs has led to the disturb of watershed environmental balance. This research aims to determine the level of connectivity in Wampu Watershed, Besitang Watershed, Lepan Watershed, North Sumatera that is calculated based on the value of the score landscape metrics. The research is used Landsat image 5 of 1995 and 2005 and Landsat 8 of 2015 with supervised classification. The research shows that there are 12 clases of land cover in Wampu Watershed, Besitang Watershed, Lepan Watershed such as the bare land, primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove forest, oil palm garden, rubber garden, mixed garden, settlements, fields, shrubs, ponds and water body. Based on the scored for the landscape metrics connectan and radius of gyration, forest connectivity has decline of 1995 to 2015. The highest level of connectivity occurs in Wampu Watershed and the lowest level of connectivity occurs in Lepan Watershed.en_US
