dc.description.abstract | Melinjo is a garden plant that has great potential to be developed into emping. Emping Melinjo is a snack that has high nutrition. Therefore, we need tools to optimize post-harvest processing. The aim of this research was to test the melinjo emping molding tool with variations in mold diameter, namely 4 cm, 5 cm, 6 cm and the number of beans, namely 1 bean, 2 beans and 3 beans. The research parameters are effective tool capacity, percentage of material left behind and uniformity, then statistical tests are carried out using factorial RAL. Optimal results in effective tool capacity and percentage of material left behind in treatment D2J2, namely a 5 cm diameter printer with 2 beans, were 0.89 kg/hour and 3%, standard deviation of diameter was found in treatment D1J3, namely a 4 cm diameter printer with melinjo beans. a total of 3 pieces is 0.040 and the standard deviation of thickness found in treatment D3J1, namely a printer with a diameter of 6 cm with 1 melinjo bean, is 0.044. The basic cost is IDR. 20,171.64/kg. The break-even point (BEP) value for the equipment is 20.27 kg/year. The Net Present Value (NPV) of 6% is IDR. 563,649,084.96/year, Net Present Value (NPV) 8% is IDR. 534,781,724/year and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 47.04%. | en_US |
