Background: Employee performance in a company is very important because reviewing employee performance can help work productivity which can help the company to achieve company goals. Therefore, professionalism and competence are very important elements to be possessed by every employee who works in a company.
Objective: This study aims to determine the attitude of professionalism and competence in improving employee performance at the Medan City DPRD office. Methods: This study uses quantitative methods with data collection through questionnaires to employees of the Medan City DPRD with a total of 20 respondents.
Results: The results of the study indicate that the attitude of Professionalism and Competence has a very high role in improving Employee Performance this can be seen through the answers of the respondents.
Conclusion: At the Medan City DPRD Office, especially in the Public Relations subdivision and the Commission through the results of research, not all employees of the Medan City DPRD Office have these traits in taking responsibility for their daily performance.
