This research aims to determine the effect of administering different concentrations of eco enzyme on ammonia levels in rabbit farms using the NodeMCu ESP8266 tool in research cages compared to rabbit urine ammonia levels tested using ammonia analysis in the laboratory. The research was carried out in research cages on Jl. Dr Hamzah, Medan Baru and Medan Class 1 Environmental Health and Disease Control Laboratory in June 2023 – December 2023. The research method used was an experimental method with a completely randomized design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 5 replications and using the DMRT test as a test for differences. The treatments given were T1 (eco enzyme 2%), T2 (eco enzyme 6%), T3 (eco enzyme 8%), T4 (eco enzyme 10%).
The results showed that the use of eco enzyme with different concentrations had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and had an insignificant effect (>0.05) on the analysis of rabbit urine ammonia. The DMRT test results show that T4 (2.78 ppm) on the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller has a very significant effect on the lowest ammonia levels and T1 (8.87 pmm) has the highest ammonia levels. Meanwhile, the results of the DMRT test for ammonia levels in urine analysis show that T4 (0.98 pmm) has no significant effect with ammonia levels that are almost the same as T1 (1.00 ppm). It can be concluded that the use of eco enzyme can only reduce ammonia levels in rabbit cages by using the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller.
