Uji Beda Rata-Rata Curahan Tenaga Kerja, Jumlah Biaya Produksi dan Pendapatan Usahatani Padi Sebelum dan Sesudah Mekanisasi Combine Harvester (Studi Kasus : Desa Pulau Gambar, Kecamatan Serba Jadi, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai)

Abstract

The ability of farmer stomanagewet land rice farming is crucial for increasing agricultural income. One of the agricultural tools currently used by farmers is the Combine Harvester. The transition to using this technology by farmers is driven by necessity, convenience, and the potential to increase income. This study aims to determine the differences in labor input, production costs, and rice farming income before and after using the Combine Harvester. The population for this research was selected using Purposive Sampling with a total of 30 rice farmer respondents. Data analysis employed agricultural analysis and mean difference testing. The results of the study showed that the labor input for rice farming before mechanization was 57.83 HKP and after mechanization was 32.69HKP. The production costs before mechanization were Rp. 10,089,390 and after mechanization were Rp. 8,297,823. Meanwhile, the rice farming income before mechanization was Rp. 22,502,610 and after mechanization was Rp. 34,197,377. Based on the results of the mean difference test, there were significant differencesin labor input, production costs, and farming income before and after mechanization.
