Background: The procedure for handling complaint letters at the Manpower Office of Medan City involves several important stages, such as receiving complaint letters, classifying letters, distributing complaint letters, investigation and follow-up, resolution, and response.
Objective: This study aims to understand the procedures for incoming and outgoing letters in handling complaints at the Manpower Office of Medan City.
Method: The sample was taken from one location, namely the Manpower Office of Medan City.
Results: This study also explains that the Manpower Office of Medan City has not yet implemented a tracking system that can be used by the public or companies to know the exact status of the letters sent. The handling of complaint letters at the Manpower Office of Medan City involves important steps to ensure that complaints are handled effectively, including registration, initial verification, preliminary review, initial investigation, and several other stages.
Conclusion: The research conducted at the Manpower Office of Medan City concludes that the handling of letters at the Manpower Office has been in accordance with procedures, but the tracking system has not been effective, as it has not yet implemented a system that simplifies the correspondence process.
