dc.description.abstractAn office is a necessity for employees that helps smooth employee performance. Therefore, it is necessary to organize space, equipment and office equipment to facilitate the movement of employee work flow. Pleasant office conditions provide satisfaction, encourage activity and boredom, as well as the quality of work results. This research aims to determine the role of office layout, namely based on indicators of suitability of the type of office layout, smooth mobility of employees, accuracy of furniture placement, accuracy of lighting, accuracy of wall color, accuracy of air circulation, and noise levels in an effort to increase employee work productivity in Cooperation Affairs. and Research Support from the Palm Oil Research Center. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires to 10 employees of the Research Cooperation and Support Affairs (UKDP) Palm Oil Research Center. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and questionnaires. The research results show that office layout is effective in increasing employee work productivity. This can be seen from the role of office layout as spatial layout optimization which has been well realized where all existing office layout indicators show appropriate suitability in facilitating employee workflow to achieve increased employee productivity.en_US
