| dc.description.abstract | Dengue fever is one of the health problems in Indonesia where the number of
sufferers tends to increase. WHO recorded Indonesia as the country with the
highest dengue cases in Southeast Asia. The purpose of this study was to Analyze
of Physical Environmental Condition Factors of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
Sufferesr in Community in Kampung Rakyat Sub-district South Labuhan Batu
District. The type of research used is descriptive with a Cross Sectional approach.
The number of samples used was all patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever
totaling 87 people. The results showed optimal room temperature (<25 and >30)
as many as 49 respondents (56.3%), room humidity did not meet the requirements
(≥60%) as many as 74 respondents (85.1%), room lighting did not meet the
requirements (<60 lux) as many as 69 respondents (79.3%), the existence of water
reservoirs in the poor category as many as 49 respondents (56, 3%), the type of
water reservoir with bucket type as many as 66 respondents (75 86%), the number
of water reservoirs as many as 21 respondents (24%) have 4 number of water
reservoirs, as many as 21 respondents (24%) have 5 number of water reservoirs,
the action of not hanging clothes in the bad category as many as 50 respondents
(57. 5%), the action of using mosquito repellent was poor as many as 68
respondents (78.2%), the action of cleaning water reservoirs was poor as many as
35 respondents (40.2%), the action of installing wire mesh was no category. It is
recommended for health workers to provide socialization to the community on how
to maintain the physical environment and avoid family habits that support the
breeding of aedes aegypti mosquitoes, and for the community to care for the
