The Influence of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance (Study at PT BPR NBP 33 Head Office, Batang Kuis)
Abstract
Human resources are a determining factor in achieving a company’s goals
effectively and efficiently, making them a vital part of organizational success. This
is true for both large and small companies, even those equipped with modern, hightech equipment. At PT BPR NBP 33 Head Office, Batang Kuis, the researcher
identified a decline in employee performance. It is suspected that the inappropriate
implementation of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture may
be the cause.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the
variables of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture with
Employee Performance. It also aims to assess the impact of these two variables on
the decline in performance observed at PT BPR NBP 33 Head Office, Batang Kuis.
The research was conducted using a quantitative method with an
associative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 51
employees using a total sampling technique, supported by secondary data such as
books and previous studies. The data was analyzed using instrument testing,
classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing as
interpretative tools.
The results show that Transformational Leadership and Organizational
Culture significantly influence Employee Performance, with a correlation and
impact level of 93% and 85.9%, respectively. The study concludes that the lack of
appropriate inspirational motivation and an overly aggressive competitive culture
contributed to the decline in employee performance.
