This study is associative in nature, and the type of data used is secondary data obtained from publications by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The scope of the research focuses on the dynamics of rice imports in Indonesia from 1994 to 2023. The objects of the study include rice imports, the dollar exchange rate, inflation, and rice production in Indonesia. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study show that the dollar exchange rate has a negative and insignificant partial effect on rice imports in Indonesia during the 1994-2023 period. Inflation also has a negative and insignificant partial effect on rice imports in Indonesia during the same period. Rice production has a positive but insignificant partial effect on rice imports in Indonesia during the 1994-2023 period.
