| dc.description.abstract | This thesis stems from the current state of the water supply system in Patumbak Subdistrict, where most services are provided by PDAM Tirta Deli, the main water provider in Deli Serdang Regency. A portion of the supply is also sourced from PDAM Tirtanadi. However, service coverage remains relatively low, reaching only 30.33%. The production capacity of PDAM Tirta Deli is currently 15 liters per second from bore wells, while PDAM Tirtanadi has a capacity of 10 liters per second. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of investment from both economic and financial perspectives regarding the water supply system development. The findings of this analysis are expected to serve as a foundation for decision-making in the water supply system development in Patumbak Subdistrict. Data processing in this study was conducted using the Monte Carlo simulation method implemented through R Studio software. This simulation technique was utilized to project the potential profits of the SPAM company over a 20-year period. The analysis results indicate that, from an economic perspective, the NPV value is Rp 12,659,105,099 (>0), IRR is 14.58% (>12%), and the Net B/C Ratio is 2.796 (>1). Meanwhile, the average NPV generated through the Monte Carlo simulation using R Studio is Rp 1,060,115,259. From the financial perspective, the NPV value is Rp 25,994,551 (>0), IRR is 9.48% (>9.20%), Net B/C Ratio is 1.03 (>1), Payback Period (PP) is achieved in the 9th year, and the Break-Even Point (BEP) reaches 0. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the investment for the development of SPAM IKK Patumbak in Deli Serdang Regency is feasible both economically and financially. | en_US |
