Pengaruh Budidaya Tanaman Kopi Terhadap Pendapatan Petani Kopi di Kabupaten Dairi

Abstract

Coffee plantations are one of the economic drivers for the people of Dairi Regency, where people who work as coffee farmers/planters daily, coffee commodities are able to provide benefits to people who work as coffee farmers. This research aims to see how coffee production variables, the number of workers and also the area of coffee plantation land owned by the people influence the welfare of coffee farmers. This research uses the path analysis method (Path Analisys). The data used is primary data in the form of cross-section data in 2022 obtained directly from the community in Sidikalang District, Sumbul District, Lae Parira District and Silima Pungga-Pungga District in Dairi Regency. The research results show that there is a simultaneous positive and significant influence of the number of workers, coffee production, and the area of coffee plantation land on the income and welfare of the coffee farming community in Dairi district and through path analysis positive and significant results are obtained from labor, production coffee, Land area to income of coffee farmers in Dairi district.
