dc.description.abstract | Background: Office layout plays an important role in supporting the performance and welfare of human resources in the workplace. Objective: This research aims to find out the role of office layout at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of the Medan Mayor's Office in improving employee performance. Method: This research uses a qualitative method by collecting data through questionnaires from 15 employees at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of the Medan Mayor's Office. The type of data source used is primary data obtained from the field in the form of observations and questionnaires. Results: The research results show that the arrangement of BKPSDM office space plays an important role in improving employee performance. The existing layout helps employees complete work on time, achieve targets, and minimize errors. so it can be considered an effective strategy in improving the quality of work. Conclusion: The physical work environment is not yet categorized as optimal because the distance between employees and noise levels are still obstacles for some employees in carrying out their work. | en_US |
