Peranan Sistem Informasi Manajemen dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan Biro Administrasi Pimpinan Setda Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Background: Management Information Systems are a collection of information technology, people people, and procedures used to collect, store, process, and disseminate information used in the decision-making process. Objective: This research aims to determine the role of Management Information Systems in Improving the Performance of Employees of the Administrative Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province. Method: This research uses qualitative methods with the type of data source used is primary data, obtained from the field in the form of observations and interviews. Result: The results of the research that has been carried out show that the implementation of the management information system in the leadership administration bureau has gone well, as can be seen from most of the systems that have been used, namely the salary system, attendance system, recruitment system and budget system that uses websites and applications. Conclusion: So that it can make employees feel helped and feel light in working and solving problems.
