dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to determine the role of self-determination on the work performance of teachers at Khairul Imam Foundation Medan. The sample in this research is 59 teachers who are active teaching at Khairul Imam Foundation Medan with saturated sampling techniques. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Self-Determination Scale (SDS) developed by Sheldon and Deci (1996) and has been adapted by Muttaqin (2023). In addition, this research also uses the Individual Work Performance Questionnare measuring instrument developed by Koopmas, et al. (2014) and has been adapted by Widyastuti and Hidayat (2018). The research data were analyzed with the assistance of Jeffrey's Amazing Statistical Program (JASP) application using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows a value of 0.004, meaning that the role of self-determination on the work performance of teachers at Yayasan Khairul Imam Medan is 0.04% with a p value of 0.650>0.05. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis in this study is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is no role of self-determination on the work performance of Khairul Imam Medan Foundation teachers.en_US
