Broiler chickens are a type of poultry as a source of animal protein whose meat is used by Indonesian people. The success of a broiler chickens farming business is greatly influenced by feed and drink and environmental temperature. Irregular temperatures can cause stress in chickens, there by reducing the growth of broiler chickens. This study aims to determine the efffect of addding black cumin extract to drinking water as an immunodulator on the performance of broiler chickens (feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion). The design used in this research was a comple randomized design (DRC) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Each replication had 5 broiler chickens. Treatments consisted of P0 (control), P1 (1% black cumin), P2 (2% black cumin), P3 (3% black cumin). The parameters oberved were feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion. The result of the study showeed that the use of black cumin ectract as an immunodulator in drinking water had no significant effect (P>0,05) on feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion in broiler chickens.
