The writing of this final project was motivated by the author's curiosity to understand the implementation process of processing library materials at the Library and Archives Service of Medan City. Subsequently, this final project used a qualitative approach method. Interview results were conducted with three staff members of the Medan City Library and Archives Service. Furthermore, the data collection techniques used by the author employed several methods: observation method, interview method, documentation method, and literature study. This final project discussed the processing of library materials at the Medan City Library and Archives Service, which had a library material processing workflow starting from inventory to the physical completion process of books, including labeling, barcode attachment, book pockets, and book cards. As a result, the processing of library materials carried out by the Medan City Library and Archives Service followed existing guidelines, but there were still several constraints faced by the Medan City Library and Archives Service.en_US
