Objective: To find out if there is a difference in the results of LED inspection using the infrared-barrier photometry and near-infrared photometry methods against the Westergren method. Method: This research is an observational study with a cross sectional data collection method to see the comparison of LED values. The study sample was 59 samples during November 2024 at Adam Malik Hospital. Sampling was done by consecutive sampling. Data were analysed using Spearman correlation test statistics and Mann Whitney difference test. Results: Fifty nine sample study were included, 35 samples were dominated by women (59%), 12 sampel were aged > 60 years (20,2%) and 53 samples were diagnosed with chronic inflammation (90%). The near-infrared photometry method had the highest mean and median values (41.92 and 27.93 mm/h) compared to the Westergren (41.47 and 27.00 mm/h) and infrared-barrier photometry method (37.00 and 21.00 mm/h). Conclusion: There was no statistically significant difference and a very strong positive correlation between the LED calculation results using the infrared-barrier photometry compare to the Westergren method (p-value > 0.05, r = 0.926) and the near-infrared photometry compare to the Westergren method (p-value > 0.05, r = 0.942). The LED calculation results of both methods were comparable to the Westergren method.en_US
