Abstract

The design of the Office Building for PT. Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) Medan Branch aims to create a representative, functional, and modern facility to support operations and enhance the company's image as a leading credit guarantee institution in Indonesia. The project adopts a contemporary architectural concept that prioritizes the integration of technology, space efficiency, and modern aesthetics. The design process involves space requirement analysis, thematic architectural studies, and the preparation of a comprehensive Detail Engineering Design (DED). Data collection was carried out through field observations, interviews with relevant parties, and literature studies on office space requirements and current architectural design trends. The office design emphasizes flexibility with an open plan and coworking space concept to support employee productivity. Additional spaces, such as lounges, representative meeting rooms, and health facilities, are also designed to improve employee comfort and well-being. This design approach not only meets technical requirements and regulations but also reflects the company's identity. The digital-friendly concept applied in the building aims to support more efficient operations in the digital age. With careful planning, this building is expected to strengthen PT. Jamkrindo's position as an innovative and adaptive credit guarantee institution, supporting the development of credit facilities in Indonesia.
