Pengaruh Konsumsi dan Net Ekspor Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dengan Investasi Sebagai Variabel Moderasi di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of consumption and net exports on economic growth in North Sumatra, as well as to prove whether investment can moderate the relationship between consumption and net exports on economic growth. Secondary data used in this study came from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra and Bank Indonesia during the period 1994-2023. The analysis was carried out using moderated regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the study show that consumption variables have a significant negative influence on economic growth in North Sumatra. The net export variable has a significant positive effect on economic growth in North Sumatra. However, investment did not moderate the influence of consumption on economic growth in North Sumatra, and did not moderate the influence of net exports on economic growth in North Sumatra. However, the results of simultaneous tests show that consumption, net exports, together have a significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra.
