dc.description.abstractChanges in the education system in Indonesia occur based on educational developments. This development can be seen from policies and updates to educational standards such as changing the curriculum. Currently, education in lndonesia uses an independent curriculum designed to catch up in literacy and numeracy. the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum, especially in elementary schools, is a major change made by the Ministry of education and Culture in an effort to improve the quality of education in indonesia. With quire a large number of schools, including elementary schools, the lmplementation of the Merdeka Belajar program and the adaptation process to Merdeka Belajar is a difficult task. This research uses a Qualitative Methods approach. This research was carried out in Medan City by taking a focus on 20 elementary schools in Medan City. Data collection techniques use in­ deph interview techniques, participant observation, documentation and literature study. Data analysis techniques use data validation, organizing data and information, presenting data. Validating findings. Interpreting findings and theorizing findings, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of independent learrning in realizing the SDGs of Quality Education in elementary schools in Medan City has various regulations as a basis. However, it requires strengthening human resources. socialization and quick response to the obstacles faced. Adaptation and changes to public elementary school strategies in medan City in facing independent learning are carried out by analyzing learning outcomes which are used as a basis for determining relevant learning methods and models. Structural adaptation can be seen from the structural transformation in the implementation of Sustainable Developmem Goals (SDGs) in SDN Medan City, showing that there is an adjustment to educational standards that are more results oriented. This is reflected in the integration of learning which is centered on the application of SDGs values, such as justice, sustainability and inclusion. adaptation of technology can be seen from the media used, if is important to choose it to suit the learning objectives and material being taught. human resource adaptation is carried out by the Medan City Government through the Medan City Education Office and continues to make efforts to improve the abilities of teachers.en_US
