families. genetic and non genetic factors such as environmental and psychological
factors that change the chemical structure of the brain where, one of the genetic
factors is Cytok ines which play a complex role in schizophrenia which is related
to neuropathological processes in the CNS and Interleukin 3 is one of the
cytokines associated with symptoms Negative for schizophrenia.
Methods:
Sampling used a non probability sampling, wi th consecutive
sampling type. It is conducted on 200 subjects (100 people with schizophrenia and
100 healthy Batak tribe controls). The examination of the IL 3 RA rs6603272 G/T
polymorphism used the PCR method.
Results:
No significant differences were fou nd between alleles and
genotypes in people with schizophrenia and healthy Batak tribe controls in this
study.
Conclusion:
No association was found between IL3 RA rs6603272 G/T
polymorphism and Negative Sym p tom. No Association between Polymorphism
and Nega tive Symptom in Bataknese Schizophrenia patient.
