Analisis Kelayakan Industri Sabut Kelapa Menjadi Cocopeat di Kecamatan Tanjung Pura Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the production costs of the coconut fiber to cocopeat industry, analyze the income of the coconut fiber to cocopeat industry, analyze the income and analyze the feasibility of the coconut fiber to cocopeat industry in Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. The analysis methods used are R/C (Revenue Cost Ratio) and BEP (Break Even Point). The results of this research show that the average production cost for the coconut fiber industry into cocopeat is IDR. 8.498.990 for 26 production processes (per month), the average revenue from the coconut fiber industry into cocopeat is IDR. 12.818.000, the average income from the coconut fiber industry into cocopeat is IDR. 4.319.010, the R/C calculation result is 1,5 > 1, so the coconut fiber to cocopeat industry is declared feasible. According to the results of the BEP Revenue calculation which is smaller than the total revenue, then the results of the Production BEP are smaller than the production amount and the BEP Price results are smaller than the selling price of the product, it is concluded that the coconut fiber to cocopeat industry in Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency is profitable and feasible to work on.
