Analysis of The Influence of Capital, Labor, City Minimum Wage on The Income of UMKM in Medan City.
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of capital, labor, and the city minimum wage on the income of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Medan City. The study uses primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to several SME operators in Medan City. The focus of the research is to examine how each of these variables impacts SME income.
The analysis method employed in this study is multiple linear regression, which helps to identify the extent to which capital, labor, and the city minimum wage affect SME income. The results show that capital and labor have a positive and significant impact on the income of SMEs in Medan City, indicating that both factors are crucial for business growth. However, the effect of the city minimum wage varies depending on the specific business sector.
These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for policymakers in developing strategies to support and improve the welfare of SMEs in Medan City. Understanding these factors can help create policies that promote sustainable business growth and enhance the economic well-being of SMEs.
