dc.description.abstractEmployee performance is a key element in achieving company goals and optimizing operations. PT Bank Sumut Head Office Medan needs to focus on improving performance, especially after facing revenue challenges in previous years. Therefore, it is essential for the company to design effective strategies to retain and develop potential employees. One step that can be taken is the implementation of talent numagement and knowledge management, which can enhance employee productivity and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance at PT Bank Sumut Head Office Medan, with employee engagement as an intervening variable. The research is associative with a quantitative approach. Data used in this study are obtained from both primary and secondary sources. The analysis methods employed include descriptive statistical analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The study population consists of all 473 employees of PT Bank Sumut Head Office Medan, with a sample of 83 employees selected using a proportional formula. The results indicate that, directly, talent management has a significant positive effect on employee engagement, and knowledge management also has a significant positive effect on employee engagement. Both variables significantly and positively affect employee performance. Additionally, employee engagement has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Indirectly, employee engagement significantly mediates the influence of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance.en_US
