Isolation and identification of flavonoids compound from the bark of glodokan (Polyalthia longifolia (Sonn.) Benth & Hook.F ex Thwaites) had been carried out through the maceration extraction stage used methanol solvent. The methanol extract was concentrated and dissolved in ethyl acetate. The ethyl acetate extract was then evaporated and concentrated. The concentrated ethyl acetate extract was dissolved with methanol and partition extracted used n-hexane. The methanol layer until all the methanol has evaporated. The concentrated methanol extract was analyzed by TLC, then separated by column chromatography with a stationary phase silica gel and the mobile phase chloroform:ethyl acetate (90:10, 80:20, 70: 30, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60, 30: 70, 20:80, 10:90) v/v.. Obtained the pure compound in the form of a yellow amorphous solid, mass = 6,1 mg with Rf = 0,6 using the eluent chloroform: ethyl acetate (40:60) v/v. Based on UV-Vis spectrophotometer analysis with methanol solvent, it shows that there are two absorption peaks with wavelengths (λmax) of 359 nm and 267 nm. The FT-IR spectrum shows the presence of O-H, C-H sp3, C=O ketone, C=C aromatic, C-H, C-O-C and C-H sp2 groups respectively at the wave number 3406,29; 2927,94; 1724,36; 1595,13; 1409,96; 1269,16; 871,82 cm-1. 1H-NMR Spectrum shows the presence of H-8, H- 2', H-6'and OCH3 protons. Based on data analysis that the isolated compound is a flavonoida compound of the flavonol group.
