    Abstract
    Introduction. Patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Indonesia often experience dyslipidemia, which is characterized by an increase in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels, as well as a decrease in HDL cholesterol levels. Chronic hyperglycemia in DM patients also affects lipid metabolism, worsening existing dyslipidemia conditions. Purpose. To find out the Lipid Profile of Diabetes Mellitus patients with Chronic Kidney Disease at Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan. Method. This research is in quantitative form with a descriptive design. The population of this study is 100 patients with Diabetes Mellitus with Chronic Kidney Disease at Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan in 2023. Data collection used medical records and sampling techniques using consecuetive sampling to assess Lipid Profile (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides). Result. The study showed that the Lipid Profile in Diabetes Mellitus patients with Chronic Kidney Disease at Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan; Total cholesterol is the most in the normal category (72%). Based on HDL is most in the low category as much as (69%). Based on LDL the most optimal as many as (59%) The most triglyceride levels are in the normal category as much as (58%). Based on the table of the most blood sugar levels in the Diabetes category (64%). Conclusion. The lipid profile of Diabetes Mellitus patients with Chronic Kidney Disease at Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan has the most total cholesterol in the normal category (72%). Based on HDL is most in the low category as much as (69%). Based on LDL the most optimal as many as (59%) The most triglyceride levels are in the normal category as much as (58%).
