Pengaruh Religiusitas terhadap Ide Bunuh Diri Dimediasi oleh Makna Hidup pada Transgender

Abstract

Transgender is a term used to describe when a person's sex identity at birth does not match their gender identity. The problems experienced by transgender groups cause conflict and psychological stress which if not managed have the potential to cause serious psychological problems. This study aims to determine the effect of Religiosity on Suicidal Idea mediated by the Meaning of Life in Transgender. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The sample in this study was 95 people who were Transgender in Medan City. In this study, the research scale was displayed in the form of a booklet which was then distributed through when meeting with transgender groups. Data analysis in this study used the Partial Least Square approach. SEM-PLS can work efficiently with small sample sizes and complex models. The results of the study showed that there was a negative and significant influence of Religiosity on Suicidal Idea There was a negative and significant influence between the Meaning of Life on Suicidal Idea there was a positive and significant influence between Religiosity on the Meaning of Life and there was a significant influence of Religiosity on Suicidal Idea mediated by the Meaning of Life on Transgenders in Medan City.
