Optimal employee performance can be realized by the feeling of security that employees have regarding their work. On the other hand, employees who experience job insecurity are unable to make maximum efforts at work and employee performance will decrease. One industry with a low level of job insecurity is retail. Cases of low job insecurity among retail employees were also found at PT. Source Alfaria Trijaya (Alfamart). Based on the explanation above, researchers realize that further testing and analysis is needed regarding job insecurity and how resilience affects job insecurity with social support as a moderator. This research is quantitative research. The data analysis method used is regression with moderating variables, and tested using Process Macro by Hayes using SPSS. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to 161 research subjects. The population in this research is Alfamart employees who live in Medan, and the research sample is 161 Alfamart employees who work in 14 Alfamart outlets in Medan. The research results show that resilience has a negative and significant effect on job insecurity. The social support variable as a moderator can also play a significant role in strengthening the influence of resilience on job insecurity.en_US
