Early adulthood is a period of adjustment to new patterns of life, including marriage, but there are women who want to live single because of ideology or religious calling. The Catholic Church offers life choices, namely the choice not to marry in order to completely consecrate oneself to God. The life choice is to become a nun. A person who chooses to become a nun knows the consequences of living as a nun, but the reality is that there are also worries that arise in a nun and problems that must be faced. Based on this, problem focused coping is needed so that nuns can solve these problems effectively. This focused problem of coping can also be influenced by several factors, two of which are emotional intelligence and self-efficacy. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the influence of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy on problem focused coping partially and simultaneously. This research is quantitative research. The population for this study was nuns who were in the early adulthood category and the sample size was 200 people. Data collection was carried out using problem focus coping, emotional intelligence and self-efficacy scales. The data was then analyzed using the multiple regression method. The research results show that emotional intelligence and self-efficacy influence problem focus coping partially or simultaneously.en_US
