Prarancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Soap Noodle dari RBDP-Stearin (Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Stearin) Menggunakan Proses Saponifikasi dengan Kapasitas Produksi 46.000 Ton/Tahun
The Preliminary Design of the Soap Noodle Plant from RBDP-Stearin (Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Stearin) Using the Saponification Process with Production Capacity of 46,000 Ton/Year
Abstract
The preliminary design of the soap noodle plant from RBDP-Stearin using
the saponification process has a production capacity of 46,000 tons/year and
operates for 330 days a year. The main process in the preliminary design of this
factory consist of four stages, namely the raw material preparation stage, the
saponification and separation stage, the neutralization and mixing stage and the
drying stage. The reaction is a saponification reaction that takes place in a
continued stirred tank reactor (CSTR) which operated at a temperature of 120°C
and a pressure of 2 bar with a residence time of 30 minutes. The factory for making
soap noodle from RBDP-Stearin using the saponification process is planned to be
established in the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (KEK) area located in
Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra with a total area of 14,751 m2. The workforce
required is 194 people in the form of a Limited Liability Company or Perseroan
Terbatas (PT) with a line and staff organizational structure. For the establishment
and operation of the factory requires investment capital of IDR 357.032.538.292
and production costs of IDR 456.643.330.885. Based on the feasibility analysis, this
plant has a BEP of 44,464%, ROI of 23,386%, POT for 4.28 years, RON of
38,976%, and IRR of 29,684%. From the results of the economic analysis. Based
on the results of the economic analysis, it can be concluded that the preliminary
design is feasible to be established.
