The Influence of Family Ownership, Accounting Conservatism, Audit Tenure, and Corporate Social Responsibility on Stock Price Crash Risk (An Empirical Study on Family-Owned Companies Listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange for The Period 2018-2022)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of family ownership, accounting conservatism, audit tenure, and corporate social responsibility on stock price crash risk based on agency theory. The population used in this research consists of family-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The samples in this study include 31 family-owned companies. The samples in this study selected using purposive sampling method. The data in this study were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results show that family ownership has a negative and significant effect on stock price crash risk. Additionally, audit tenure has a positive and significant effect on stock price crash risk. On the other hand, accounting conservatism and corporate social responsibility have no effect on stock price crash risk.
