    Abstract
Introduction. Coronary heart disease is an inflammatory disease caused by blockage in the blood vessels of the heart. The therapy is coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). However, this procedure is influenced by various factors so that patient mortality and morbidity can increase if not considered. Objective. To analyze the factors that influence the outcome and length of stay of coronary heart disease patients who underwent coronary artery bypass surgery. Method. This study is an observational analytical study with a retrospective design and using medical records. The study sample was coronary heart disease patients who underwent coronary artery bypass surgery at H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan from January 2022 to May 2024. The number of samples was 132 patients for outcome analysis and 113 patients for length of stay analysis, analyzed using the Chi-Square test (bivariate) and logistic regression test (multivariate). Results. Of the 13 variables tested (bivariate), creatinine, number of grafts, duration of aortic cross clamp, and duration of mechanical ventilation had a p-value<0.05. Of the 4 variables tested (multivariate), the duration of mechanical ventilation (OR: 36.30) had a p-value<0.05. Conclusion. Factors that significantly influence patient outcomes are creatinine, number of grafts, duration of aortic cross clamp, and duration of mechanical ventilation. While the predictor is the duration of mechanical ventilation.
