    Abstract
    Introduction. Recent advances in prenatal diagnostic technology have led to the development of fetal intervention procedures designed to treat congenital malformation in utero. Fetal intervention procedures aim to improve infant outcomes, enhance infant capabilities in the transition phase from intrauterine to extrauterine, minimize obstetric complications, and prevent maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Objective. This study aims to determine the characteristics of pregnant patients who underwent fetal intervention at H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan in 2022 – July 2024. Method. This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out using secondary data in the form of medical records at the H. Adam Malik General Hospital, Medan in 2022 – July 2024. The sampling method used the total sampling technique. The data analysis used was a univariate test with a frequency distribution table. Result and Discussion. The results of this study indicate that there were 13 pregnant patients who underwent fetal intervention. The distribution of the age of pregnant patients was mostly in the age group of 20-35 years (84.6%), gestational age of 14-27 weeks (76.9%), not nulliparous (69.2%), patients with multifetal pregnancy (84.6%), and indication of fetal therapy Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (76.9%). Conclusion. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the incidence of fetal intervention in pregnant patients was mostly in the age group of 20-35 years, gestational age of 14-27 weeks, not nulliparous, multifetal pregnancy, and indication of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome.
