Introduction : Nausea and vomiting are common physiological conditions in early pregnancy, but if it persists it can develop into hyperemesis gravidarum, which interferes with pregnancy. Stress plays an important role in relieving symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum, while anxiety arises as an emotional response to stress. Pregnancy is a phase with major changes for women, and sleep needs during this period vary between individuals. Objective : to determine the distribution of characteristics, levels of stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbances in women with hyperemesis gravidarum. Methods : This study used a descriptive method with a cross-sectional design using consecutive sampling. The sample was pregnant women in the first trimester who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were obtained using a validated questionnaire instrument. Results : The result showed out of the 70 respondents, the average age of pregnant women in the first trimester with hyperemesis gravidarum was 26-30 years (48.6%) with normal stress levels (52.9%), mild anxiety levels (65.7%) and poor sleep disturbance levels (64.3%). Based on the degree of hyperemesis gravidarum, 35 pregnant women in the first trimester were found with mild hyperemesis gravidarum (50%) and moderate hyperemesis gravidarum (50%). Conclusion : Pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum experience normal stress levels, mild anxiety, and poor sleep disorders.en_US
