    Abstract
Introduction: Circumcision is a procedure to remove part or all of the foreskin (prepusium) of the penis. Circumcision is very important for health because it can reduce the risk of urinary tract infections, reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, and others. However, there are still many parents who do not know which micronutrient intake is good to give to their children to support the wound healing process in circumcision wound care. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of parental knowledge and the provision of micronutrient intake in post-circumcision wound care for boys in Pekan Kuala Village and Melati II Village, North Sumatra in 2024. Methods: This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional study research design. The research sample was 116 people who were taken using a total sampling method that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The results of the study showed that the average parent had a level of knowledge about circumcision that was good (69.0%), moderate (25.9%), and poor (5.1%). Meanwhile, parents who have an attitude towards postcircumcision wound care are more correct (67.5%) and incorrect (32.5%). Conclusions: There was a significant relationship between the level of parental knowledge and the attitude of micronutrient intake in post-circumcision wound care in boys (p=0.008).
