    Analysis on the Factors Influencing the Life Quality of Patients with Diabetes Leg Wound in the Asri Wound Care Center

    Abstract
    Quality of life is defined as a dynamic multidimensional concept developed to find out the psychological effect of a disease in which it includes welfare aspect of people's and environmental characteristics and the economic health status. In a patient affected by diabetes mellitus will get the wound with entire thickness from his distal to his tarsus. Quality of life is influenced by some factors such as the factors of socio-economy, demography, physical health, psychological health, social relationship, and activities. Socio-economic factor includes income and work status. The objective of the research is to find out the factors which dominantly influence the quality of life of patients with diabetic leg wound in the Asri Wound Care Center Clinic, Medan. The research uses descriptive correlation method with cross-sectional design. The samples are 35 patients, taken by using non-probability sampling with total sampling technique. The result of the research shows that of 35 respondents, 19 of them (54.3%) are 19-59 years old, 22 of them (62.9%) are males, 25 of them (71.4%) are SD/SMP/SMA graduates, 23 of them (65.7%) are unemployed, 24 of them (68.6%) get their income of IDR.3,769,082, 17 of them (48.6%) have no co-disease, 32 of them (91.4%) never consult psychologists, 13 of them (62.9%) participate in social organizations, and 20 of them (57.1%) have fewer physical activities. The data are analyzed by using simple logistic regression analysis and multiple regression analysis with the testing result of all variables at p-value>0.05 The result of the research shows that there is no variable which dominantly influences the quality of life.
