Abstract
The moist wound healing method, a recent and effective wound care technique, requires nurses to have strong knowledge and a positive attitude in performing this method. This research investigates the correlation between nurse attitude and knowledge in performing wound care using the moist wound healing method at RSUD dr. M. Thomson, Nias. This research uses a survey approach, involving 75 nurses selected through probability sampling. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that the majority of nurses, 40 people (53.3%), had sufficient knowledge about wound care using the moist wound healing method, the majority of nurses had a positive attitude, 69 people (92%), and it was concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge and nurses' attitudes. about wound care using the moist wound healing method at RSUD dr. M. Thomson, Nias. It is hoped that this research will enable hospitals to facilitate nurses who still have insufficient knowledge of wound care using the moist wound healing method and increase their knowledge through media and training provided by hospitals and the government.
