The search for renewable energy solutions to meet the growing demand for energy efficient and environmentally friendly cooling technologies is becoming increasingly important. One promising technology is the use of Peltier thermoelectric modules combined with solar energy as the power source. This study aims to develop and analyze the performance of a Peltier-based ice maker with a 0.5-liter capacity, utilizing solar energy as the primary power source. The system operates by utilizing the thermoelectric effect on the Peltier module to produce the low temperatures required for freezing, while the solar panel provides the necessary electrical energy to operate the system. Experiments were conducted to measure the system's efficiency in generating ice under various factors, including sunlight intensity, ambient temperature, and processing time. Temperature measurements at different points within the system and the time required to produce ice were analyzed to determine the best performance of the system. The results showed that the system could produce ice within varying time frames, depending on environmental conditions, especially the intensity of sunlight received by the solar panel. Under optimal conditions, the system can generate ice efficiently despite its limited capacity. This research is expected to provide a sustainable and energy-efficient technological solution for utilizing renewable natural resources and holds potential for implementation in areas with limited access to conventional energy.en_US
