| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the impact of the arrangement of the Ulos Huta Raja
Weaving Village tourist attraction on the socio-economic conditions of weavers in
Lumban Suhi Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency. The arrangement of
this tourist attraction includes improving infrastructure, promoting ulos weaving
culture, and improving supporting tourism facilities which are expected to attract
more tourists. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data
were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation.
The results of the study indicate that the arrangement of tourist attractions has a
positive impact on the socio-economic conditions of weavers, including increased
income, employment opportunities, and wider market access. In addition, the
increase in tourist visits also has an impact on the preservation of ulos weaving
culture, because the demand for ulos products increases. However, there are
challenges in changing the mindset of community behavior that can complicate
the regulation and management of local communities. Changes in the mindset and
attitudes of the community. This study suggests a skills training program and
marketing assistance so that weavers can be more competitive and able to utilize
tourism potential optimally. Thus, the development of culture-based tourism plays
an important role in supporting the economic welfare of local communities and
